Virtual Camera set up instructions:

  1. If using OBS or Streamlabs OBS, you will need a “Virtual Camera” to connect with Drip.
  2. After you install a Virtual Camera in OBS or Streamlabs OBS, you will end up seeing the “Virtual Camera” as an option on Drip and you’ll be able to select it as a video source.
  3. Before going live on Drip, you’ll want to start the “Virtual Camera” in OBS or Stream Lab OBS.
  4. In OBS, you have the option to "Start Virtual Camera” on the right side of the application.
  5. In your Streamlabs OBS, you have the option to start the virtual camera in “Settings” on the bottom left side of the application. Once there, go to “Virtual Webcam,” and you’ll see an option to “Start Virtual Webcam.”
  6. If your Virtual Camera is not showing up on Drip, that may mean you need to restart your computer after installation or you need to setup as a system administrator to ensure you have the correct permissions to install.

Virtual Audio set up instructions (OPTIONAL):

Note: There are many ways, this is one way.

There is a software called Virtual Audio Cable, it works for both windows and Mac: https://vb-audio.com/Cable/index.htm#DownloadCable. If you’re on windows, you can get away with one free virtual cable. If you’re on Mac, you’ll want to get the two audio cables because you cannot do desktop audio capture inside OBS. You will need to make a donation to get it.

  1. Once you set them up, you will be able to view your audio cables. You will need to route your desktop audio into a virtual cable.

  2. Then go to OBS or Streamlabs, and add source. Select “Audio Input Capture” and add your microphone and select your desired device. You will see the microphone appear in the “Mixer.”

  3. Next add your desktop audio, Select “Audio Input Capture” and add your virtual audio cable. You will see the desktop audio appear in the “Mixer.”

  4. Now, we need to add the audio microphone and desktop audio to Drip. We need another virtual cable. In the upper right side of the mixer you need to open “advanced audio settings.”

  5. For both desktop and microphone audios, under “Audio Monitoring,” select Monitor and Output.

  6. Go to “Settings” and then “Audio” and make sure the devices are disabled.

  7. Go to “Advanced” settings and select your “Audio Monitoring Device” and here you’re going to select your second virtual audio cable and click done.

  8. Now you are done setting up your OBS!

  9. Last step! Go to your live stream in Drip and click open the video and audio settings on the bottom left side of the host view and select your second virtual audio cable.

  10. Now you have your mic and desktop audio getting mixed up and being sent from OBS to Drip!

<aside> ‼️ Mac users: Streamlabs OBS does not work well with Mac OS. Use regular OBS.
